The Kid Captain Program is an opportunity to connect our local Youth Players with our High School Student-Athletes. Our Honorary Kid Captains interact with members of the team prior to the game, offer fist bumps, high fives, and support, and get to be on the bench with the coaching staff during warm-ups. The Kid Captain experience is unique for each player and we hope it’s something the youth player gets to cherish until it’s their turn to wear the high school jersey!

  • There are no age restrictions for our Kid Captains. Last season we had Kid Captains from Learn-to-Play through U12 Players.

    Kid Captains do not have to be hockey players. However, children do need to have a hockey-style helmet in order to be on the bench during warm-ups.

  • Please understand, in order to maintain the special experience for each Kid Captain, space is limited and there are only so many games per season.

    Kid Captain assignments are first come - first serve. Priority is given to kids who have not served as Kid Captains in the past, but previous Kid Captain are encouraged to join us for second tours of duty when space allows.

  • The Kid Captain Program would not be possible without the help of our amazing sponsors. In our inaugural season, Canaan Hardware helped us get this program off the ground.
